After creating the templates for “My year in review” and “My list for 2017” (you can download them HERE), I was looking for a nice idea to make something similar for my little boy and so I discovered the year-end interviews for children.

I sound like a great idea, so I prepared one template for us and I plan to use it every year from now on to capture memories in my child’s life. The interview is basically a set of things about the child you want to remember over the years and it’s also a very nice activity to make with the little ones. They will be glad to fill in the interview and this could become a great tradition to follow every year.

Beside the printable for the new year’s interview I have prepared 2 templates to keep some memories from this year: a place where the child can make a drawing and a place to capture his hand print. I think it’s lovely to have these memories kept at the end of each year to be able to see how much a child changes over the years and to enjoy the old drawings and hand prints.

I share with you this printable (you can download them using the below form) and I think it can bring you a nice time with your kids while filling it out. I can’t wait to hear how my little boy will answer to this interview.  I hope you enjoy using it with your family too!

I wish you a happy new year, with a lot of joys and wonderful family moments!

This is such a fantastic idea. I love it. Thanks for sharing. I recently wrote a blog about how to make a DIY New Year's Time Capsule with your kids. These interview questions would be perfect to save in this time capsule. Check it out at http://www.timecapsule.com/any-occasion-diy-time-capsule-ideas/how-to-make-a-new-years-time-capsule/.
