The end of the year is a perfect time to remember all the things that happened in the last year and to plan ahead for the new year. 2017 comes with a lot of hopes, dreams and wishes and looking back at last year is a great opportunity to enjoy the good memories and to learn from the challenges we faced.

One great way to review the last year is to write down your own list of the things that really mattered to you in 2016 and then to start a new list for 2017 with all your plans and resolutions. I make this exercise every year and I always enjoy it.

“My year in review” is my way to say “goodbye” to the past year and to look forward to what the new year will bring me. The second list is for planning the new year, for setting goals and writing down what is really important for us in the next year. I created two templates to help me keep track of these lists and, at the end of the next year, I can’t wait to look back at them and see how much I have accomplished and to enjoy the memories of 2016.   I think this is going to be an annual project for me from now on! 🙂

The New Year’s Eve party game

I have found also another very nice printable for New Year: the New Year’s Eve party game. We tried it last year and it was a great thing to do before midnight, so we plan to repeat the game this year. You can download the printables from the Party Delights blog.

If you have other ideas for the end of the year I would be glad to find them out, so please feel free to share them here. 🙂

What a cute idea! I love the review printable as well, it's not only important to make goals for 217 but also to reflect on the last year and to learn and grow from the experiences you had.
