I’ve always believed that creativity is something kids are born with: it’s in the way they see the world, the way they experiment, the way they turn a cardboard box into a rocket ship.
But sometimes, they need a little inspiration to remind them just how much they can create.
That’s why I love filling our bookshelves with stories about artists and the incredible ways they brought their ideas to life.
Whether it’s a painter who saw music in colors, a Disney artist who dared to dream in bold shades, or a little girl who learns that art doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful, these books show kids that creativity comes in so many forms.
This month, I’ve put together a list of books that celebrate art, imagination, and the magic of making something uniquely your own.
I hope they bring as much joy and inspiration to your family as they have to ours!
