Last year I searched for some great Easter baskets for kids in many of my favorite stores and I couldn’t find anything that I would truly like. Many of them contained some nice things but also items that I wouldn’t buy for my son: many sweets and low-quality toys that would have probably be broken soon after opening the basket.
Some of them looked really cute but I wanted to make sure that they would really be that kind of gift that could bring joy to my son (and the other kids on my gift shopping list).
After spending some time looking for the right Easter basket, I gave up. I realized that I don’t want to spend my money on one of those cute baskets that will transform into junk the next day.

Instead, I decided to create my own Easter baskets and only include things that a young child would truly love!
I took me a lot of time to research and find good ideas for my son and my best friend’s kids, but at the end, I was very happy that I did this! The Easter baskets turned out exactly like I wanted!
Instead of offering the kids a lot of sweets that will give them that (difficult to handle) sugar high, I only offered them things that they can use for hours of play and fun!
