When I started teaching the alphabet to my son, I searched for easy and fun ideas that will allow him to learn the letters in a playful way. And I found so many nice ideas!
Today I want to share with you some of our favorite resources and ideas for teaching young kids about the alphabet. I hope that you’ll enjoy them as much as we did!
Our favorite resources for alphabet activities
– The Alphabet Mega Pack from Playdough to Plato – This is the best collection of printable activities for teaching kids the alphabet.
– 52 Wooden Alphabet Magnets in a Box – We use magnetic letters for a lot of activities like scavenger hunts, sensory bins, and fun games. (This set of magnetic letters is great too!)
– Alphabet Go Fish – A fun letter matching card game for young kids.
– Sticker Collection – Alphabet and Numbers – This set is perfect for activities.
– Alphabet Bingo Board Game – A game for teaching kids letter recognition, uppercase letters, and letter/object associations through play.
– See-Inside Alphabet Peg Puzzle – A lovely puzzle that teaches kids to match letters with pictures as they assemble the puzzle.
