Independent Play Challenge: Day 4

Welcome to day 4 of the Independent Play Challenge!

How to quickly set up activities that will keep your kids busy

Yesterday we talked about how to choose the right toys and materials to encourage independent play, so now it’s time to discover how to use them to create engaging activities your kids will want to try.

Today we will focus on:

  • an easy way to prepare activities for your kids on a regular basis and
  • a simple 5-step process to use when setting up activities.

It will only take you a few minutes to go through today’s tips, so you can have more time to do the assignment and implement them.

  • 📌 BONUS: If you want more ideas to try with your kids, check out this set of activity cards that will make it easy for you to set up engaging invitations to play in less than 10 minutes.

After deciding on an activity to prepare for your kids, please share it here in the comments! I would love to hear from you, and your idea can inspire other parents as well!
