Some days ago I created our summer bucket list and I promised myself to be more intentional when it comes to creating wonderful family moments this summer. Besides having my list displayed on the fridge to be sure that I will remember this promise every day, I’ve searched some ideas for creating a nice summer schedule for kids. And I’ve found a great idea that I want to share with you! I think you’ll like it too! 🙂

I wanted our schedule to be fun and flexible. But I also wanted it to allow us to do a lot of activities together! And I was really glad when I’ve discovered a planning tip that makes this possible! The idea is really simple: just assign each day of the week with a specific theme or activity. Once you have the themes for one week you can repeat them the whole summer! This is such an easy way to keep kids excited about every day! It’s super simple to put into practice and the kids will have something to look forward to each day.

The kids will know what to expect each day and the planning every week becomes an easy task!

Monday will be the Outdoor Play Day. We will do many games and spend a lot of time outside.

Tuesday will be the Scavenger Hunts Day. I’ve noticed that Bogdan likes all scavenger hunts and he’s looking forward to new challenges! So I will use this day to prepare new scavenger hunts for him and have fun together!

Wednesday will be the Nature Exploration Day. Bogdan enjoys spending time in nature, so I think that he will enjoy this day!summer schedule for kids

Thursday will be the Water Day. We will play water games and we will spend time at the pool.

Friday will be the Library Day. We will read new books and discover new stories.

Saturday will be the Daddy-Time Day. Bogdan and Adrian will get to spend time together and do the things that they enjoy most! In the meantime, I will be able to work and write new articles. 🙂

Sunday will be the Family Trip Day. We will go on trips to nice places around our house and we’ll enjoy some quality family time!

The best thing about this schedule is that it is so easy to put into practice! I love its flexibility and I hope that it will bring us a lot of wonderful family moments!
