Game nights are one of our favorite activities for family nights, and they bring us lots of fun!
We started playing board games when my eldest son was 2 and a half years old, and we kept discovering new games as he grew up. (If you have a young child and you’re just getting started with board games, here is the list of our favorite board games for toddlers.)
Now we have a big shelf filled with great games, and we often play a quick game in the evening, after dinner. My son loves them, and we really enjoy them too!
I like to watch him enjoying the game. Celebrating every win. Even finding little ways to “cheat” as he gets to know the game better.

We tried many board games for preschoolers either at home or at our friends’ houses.
Some of them were really boring for the grown-ups ,and even if the kids loved them, I found it hard to spend hours playing them without getting totally bored.
This is why I always try to find games that my husband and I can enjoy as well. This makes game nights a lot more fun for the whole family, and we get to spend a lot more time playing the games together!
Here is the list of our favorite board games for preschoolers that are both great for kids and fun to play for adults.
1. Sequence for kids (one of our favorite board games for preschoolers)
This fun game is the classic game of Sequence adapted for kids. It was our favorite game when my son was younger, and we played it over and over again without getting bored.
It helps kids develop logical thinking skills, and it’s a perfect way to introduce them to strategy games.

2. Outfoxed
Outfoxed is a cooperative whodunit game that invites kids to use clues to eliminate suspects and solve a mystery.
