Inside: Surprise eggs is a fun guessing game you can easily prepare using plastic eggs.
I like to prepare small surprises for my kids because I know how much they enjoy them and it’s such an easy way to brighten their day!
A few days ago, after my son saw a box of plastic eggs I stored for Easter, he kept talking about how much loves egg hunts! I know how much he enjoys opening the eggs after the egg hunt and discovering the little surprises inside, so I decided to prepare an activity inspired by that.
To make the activity more fun, I turned it into an easy guessing game and my son loved it!
The game is very easy to prepare, so I wanted to share it with you, in case you want to try it with your little ones.
Surprise eggs: A fun guessing game for kids
To prepare the surprise eggs you will need:
- plastic eggs
- playdough
- small items to use as surprises (we used toy figures and nature items)
- small pieces of paper.
How to prepare the surprise eggs for the game
- Choose the items you want to include in the eggs. For each item write 3 simple clues on a small piece of paper.
You can see below some of the clues for the items I included in the eggs.
- Wrap the items with playdough until they are no longer visible.
- Place the surprise and the piece of paper with the clues inside a plastic eggs.
After you finish preparing all the eggs, invite your kids to a guessing game.
The kids will open each egg and read the clues (or you can read them to your kids if they are too young to read).
After making a guess, the kids will unwrap the surprise to see if they are right and enjoy the surprise!
This game is great for many ages, because you can adapt the surprises and the glues to be suitable for your child’s age.
I hope your little ones will enjoy it!
